The Performers
The artists involved in this project were carefully screened and chosen not just because of their talents in singing
or performance arts but also because of their generous spirits and ability to dream.

Performing in Australia since 1988 and winning a singing competition "Paligsahan ng Talino" in 1991, Cleo became a favourite in the Filipino-Australian community functions and events. She has been a front act performer for many concerts, including international singer, David Pomeranz. She has also ventured into Sydney’s Club Circuit singing for Six Pack Productions, one of Australia’s highly acclaimed and award winning cabaret production companies.

MARY MAY HAPINMary May or MM was a member of the West Auckland Choir when it won an International Choir competition. MM comes from a family of musicians, most of which dominated Cebu's music scene; she became a vocalist for a show band in Cebu. When she moved to Sydney, she took a break to concentrate on her family, career and charitable causes. Upon the invitation of a member of ALFA team, she willingly shared some of her time to contribute to this project, performing a duet with Rie Manoloto. This initiative may just be the perfect trigger for her to return on stage; as she said, "once a singer is always a singer". |
